ECU question

I transplanted a 3sgte JDM to my 91 US spec 3sgte. I used my original
ECU, air mass and so on.

My question,
I have a JDM ECU, if I will replace my US spec ECU with the JDM
ECU ,will it makes any difference (as far as power?..will it work)?

Thanks

It should make a lil more power but it will definately make it run a lot smoother at low and high end rpm
:rocket:

If you use the JDM ECU, you'll have a gain in power. This is because the JDM ECU is more highly tuned than the US Spec ECU. The downside to this, is that the JDM ECU is tuned for 100+ octane fuel, which means that you MUST use PULP at all times (octane booster would be adviseable too), or else you'll have problems with the engine pinging as a result of detonation.
