Trailer wiring harness install
Well, the dealer installed the tow hitch, but not the wiring harness. Where exactly does it plug in? I see 3 connectors just underneath the rear of the vehicle on the passenger side, but I don't see an open connector and the wiring harness is not a "pass-thru" connector.
Thanks, Richard |

I believe it has a dust cap of sorts over it, and this is shown on a 2000 model, but hope it helps:

Thanks for going to all that trouble to take the picture! I'm borrowing a trailer from a friend at work to help me with the move to the new house, so its the first time I've needed the tow hitch.

I did it when I got home after work. Actually right when I parked because I was quickly loosing sunlight. I would have hunted around for that thing for ever if I hadn't known where to look. It's pretty well hidden. The only problem I had was that I had to drop the spare to get good enough access with my pliers to unclip the filler plug.
