'09 Sante Fe SE Towing -- Wiring Harness
I'm looking for a towing wiring harness for my Dad's 09 Sante Fe SE. I looked above the exhaust on the driver's side and located 2 pre-wired pig tails where a wiring harness must connect into. I've searched the web and the only plug-in harnes -- that does NOT require splicing into the main wiring harness -- is an etrailer.com product # 30159 (http://www.etrailer.com/p-30159.html)....
Are there any other options from other retailers? Other forums indicate Hyundai sells a similar part for $81. There are other funky "Y" harnesses that require taking out panels from the trunk and fishing wires trough the trunk panel and the finished product has the trailer pigtail hanging out from the rear hatch.... not very professional. I'l like a harness that would go from the factory pigtails above the driver's exhaust to the hitch.... |

You might try posting in some more active message boards to find an answer. This one is kind of quiet.
