Timing belt

I have 85,000 miles on my car, and I was wondering when I should change my timing belt. And if I should change anything else while I'm at it?

Yeah, I would do it now. You should also have the water pump replaced as well (like 5genhbtrubo15 said). I would also replace the radiator hose, other belts (if needed), and have the ball joints checked.

Honda 90k:

1. Change engine oil fiter and oil
2. Lube hinges latches
3. Underbody inspection
4. Check all belts, hoses, and fluid levels
5. Rotate and balance front 2 tires
6. Clean and adjust rear drum brakes (if applicable)
7. Adjust valves to manu. specs
8. Replace timing belt
10.Replace air filter
11.Replace HVAC filter
12.Replace distributor cap

-I might've missed a couple things bcuz I didnt memorize whats in the book
-Keep in mind that after adjusting valves, your car will sound louder because valves wear tight (not loose). Best time do replace water pump is when you replace your timing belt.

The Honda service books say 90k but some of the ones that use 5w20 have a different service cycle. But I don't think it would be less than 90k since the services go up from 3,750 to 5,000 mile services. 90k is recommended on most and thats what I thnk u should go by.

yougod10 why would you only rotate & balance 2 tires if you have all 4 off that sounds stupid!

Some Honda's recommend 60K & others @ 90K. I would go no more that 80K myself. Honda 90K does not include t/belt replacement

Timing belt replacement is not cheap unless you can do it yourself. Other wise 60K & 90K service w/ timing belt will run around $1,000 @ the dealer. You can do just the minimun : t/belt, water pump, assy belts. I would have the valves adjusted also if not done in the last 15K
