turbo spooling

I heard that the larger turbo's put out more power (duh) but take too long to spool up

what would be the best turbo for road racing?

the most power but a quick spooling turbo as well?

turbo sizing has a lot to do with what the individual needs. Turbos are extremely customizable and many aren't the same. Different compressor wheels, housings, exaust inlet on manifold, bearings, materials of compressor wheel.... lot of different options. What you need depends on how much boost you want to make, how much horsepower you want, and the size of your engine. Im sure there are some more factors but take those into account when getting a Turbo.

from what I know these things will make the turbo spool faster.
Ceramic Compressor wheel
Ball Bearings
Smaller turbo

PERFECT TURBOSIZE

Well yeh, bigger turbo's do make more power but have lag!! i have a 92 240sx coupe turbo. i know quite enought to say a little about turbo's. i have trial and tested a few on my car. t3/to4e 60 trimetc etc. too much lag at 7 psi. here is the turbo you need if your going to road race and still make maximum horsepower and torque levels at around 7 -10 psi boost. ----->

must be t3/to4B Garrett turbocharger with 60 trim compressor B housing with 45 wheel. .63 ar exhaust housing stage 3. this is the most properly matched turbo to the KA24-DE motor. this is the 3rd turbo i've tested on my 240. IT IS THE BEST and was spec matched for such reasons. Tire spin like crazy. basically dont waste money on any t3's. i cant sit here and write too much about this turbo.

IF you want a brand new one, you can let me know, thats how i bought my last 3 turbo's. BRand new Garret T3/To4B 60 trim 45 wheel, .63 stage 3 = $ 575 if you want it polished, its 650.

Remember, this is a properly speced turbocharger for the flow of this KA24DE engine, and for the type of boost response and conditions for road race.

Suppose if you wanted a turbo for maxmum horsepower and for drag racing, i would suggest a t3/to4E or a straight TO4E for like 11psi and over.

[email protected] i have really good + feedback on ebay. but i wont ebay something like this. WOuld only get it if someone really wants it. Later.
