Corvette C6R Finished

Even After all the mods I did this still needs a few modifications like the exhaust shield should be rectangular. This kit built out of the box is the presentation version of the car. For any body building this kit I recommend going to corvetteracing.com, there is pics from all 2005 and 2006 races and the presentation car. It still looks good overall. I made the Klein Tools decals and rear side marker lights were drawn in Autocad.

Re: Corvette C6R Finished

Looks great. You took a basic kit and made it look very high detailed. Paint work and panel lines look very well done.

Mike.

Re: Corvette C6R Finished

Did the kit come with the position lights (on the doors, green), or did you add those? I'm glad to finally see kits including them, if it's the former. If not, I commend you for your attention to detail!

Looks great!

Thanks, The green lights and Headlights are MV lenses that come in various sizes and color tints. The kit just has depressions molded in the doors and no decals for them. The actual car has 3 LEDs in each hole.

Re: Corvette C6R Finished

Does this kit have an engine? I thought it would since the C5-R kit did. One way or the other, though, it is a really good-looking car and a great job building it up.
(By the way I did NOT copy your avatar; in fact I have never seen any of your posts before. Besides, they are slightly different pictures!)

Stunning work, I may consider getting this kit myself after seeing your build.
