Can someone PLEASE help ME?
I just recently bought a used 96 Integra from a private owner, and in the rush of picking up the car, i didn't check everything. When i got home, i realized the keys didn't open the trunk. It opens the passenger-side door, so i don't think i have valet keys, but the trunk won't be opened with the key. The latch inside opens the trunk, but the key won't ... just wondering if someone could help me by telling me what i have to do. thanks.

you could ask the guy you bought it from for the real key. or you could go to ace and have a copy of the key made that is normal size, rather than the fatass size of the valet key. or you could go to the dealership and have them make you a key.

well, i don't think these are the valet keys. i have 2 keys, exactly the same. they have that black thing on it and it opens the passenger door. someone said that it seems like there's a lock or something that's stopping the key from turning. there's no owner's manual in the car, either.

all i can say then is that you be so hasty in your car purchases and get used to using your trunk release rather than your key to open the trunk. you should get a helms to replace the owners manual, there is much mroe information in that.
