can someone please help me fix my heater
k my heater has not been working ever since my swap. my heater hoses are connected but i get no hot air only cold. and also the the switch that you turn right for hot and left for cold you know the one in the middle of the blue to red circle wich indicates cold or hot. that shit is stuck and wont go back to cold. i need help is there something wrong with the hoses or whats going on im not to familiar with this shit.

did you check the heater motor fuse under the steering wheel? its on the far right, its a little 30 fuse all on its own, make sure to check it

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIX MY HEATER!!
i did that but gonna try it again. can it be the little bracket on the hose how does that work.??
up please i really need this fixed its cold. and i dont want to drive back to my mechanics shop.

I'm just guessing that it's the valve.
Your heater hose is connected to a valve that is mounted sticking out of the firewall. There's a cable that goes from the knob that you twist on the dash through the firewall to that valve. I'll bet that valve is stuck from crud/deposits in your coolant. Try to move the end where the cable attaches with your hand, or a pair of pliers. Once you get that valve unstuck, the knob on the dash will work again. And I'll bet you'll get some hot air blowing, too. Flunky |
