shaved gas tank

If you have a shaved gas tank where do the gas stations stick the gas??? Do you still use that tank, and just pop it open??? or does the tank go in your trunk and you have to use it in there?????? Sorry if its a stupid question Im just wondering?

People who I have seen with shaved gas tanks move it to the trunk behind one of the taillights.

To fill their car up the taillight swings out exposing the shaft for the gas to be put.

I've seen the taillight thing done to more civics than anything else, like I said there's a guy I know that has it done on his '98 ex
He has everything shaved from his car, handles, moldings, gas tank, everything, and it looks soooooo smooth and clean.

Yes, you have a door popper and it pops out your door for you. But just remember that it is illegal in most states to have shaved door handles (it's a safety concern, ie if you're in an accident and unconcious they can't get inside the car to get to you w/o breaking the windows). It's a pretty big fix it ticket, and it's kind of hard to fix, so as long as the cops aren't picky where you live it should be ok. But if you're say here in Cali, you'd get hastled a lot.
I'll try to get some pics of his civic when I see him again.

shaved handles/moldings...

well, you would have to spend more just to do that. Because you'd have to have it shaved, repainted, moved, have the tail light hinged, and the gas piping rerouted. So you're looking at at least $800 depending on where you have it done at.
