Question Garrett T3 oil cooled question

Currently building my own turbo for my 98 civic and I came across a garrett t3 turbo. It isnt cooled by oil and water both but just oil. I guess the question is, is it a good or a bad thing that it is only cooled by oil. Let me know if anyone has a clue hehehe, thanks

my T3 is oil cooled only and it's fine. i added an oil cooler though to cool the oil going into the turbo to expand its life. IMO i think having it oil and water cooled is a pain for hondas.
