good luck!!!! hehehe

no really a si head will bolt on with a si distribtor, intake, and ecu. you will need to add four wires to the distribtor. but thats it, its a cheap mod and you all keep up with si because your lighter to start with.

a turbo...spend a grand make a custom turbo, I hear that with such a low compression it can be a good idea and can be set around 10psi with stock internals...haha, maybe its a little outta your budget

a turbo is not out of my budget, I just want to keep it all motor and be able to stomp an SI with a little D15B2 and I may use nitrous(nitrous is not dangerous to the motor only the person that doesn't know how to install it or use it, thats why people say nitrous is not safe ), but I also want to see how much knowledge everyone on this site has. Any more opinions?????????????

I would like to know....I think nitrous would help it achieve that. Maybe a new cam also. Other than that, not much else i can think of right now.

Sounds like a waste of money to me... If you build a D15b2 to beat a stock Si, it's still only beating a stock Si. There's alot of things you could do, but I think in the end, the ammount of money you'll have to spend to wring a bunch of HP out of a DX is going to far exceed what it would take to just do a motor swap. Unless you go the N20 direction, but if you're planning on a 100 shot, you still need to build the block to handle it.

Well if you want to stay all motor:

New cam
Headwork
Higher compression

They key for the d15b2 is fuel. It only uses two fuel injectors so you are going to have to be careful how high the compression is or how much nitrous you squeeze if you are going that route.

Good Luck

the ZC tranny has a lower gear ratio but combined with the SI final drive gear, it makes a nice quick tranny. And yes I was thinking of doing a motor swap maybe a ZC, cause I can transfer the intake, header to that motor I would just have to grind the header to make the ports a little bigger. But I just want to see how quick I can make the D15B2 but eventually I will go with the ZC. Does APEXi make a header for the 4th gen Civics??

why waste all that money just so you can say i beat you with the stock d15 motor when he can go get an intake system and beat you or whatever else the case is, in the end if you spend all that money on that engine i think your gonna kick yourself in the ass for doing it

get a bullfrog head, higher comp ratio. 92hp then 32 hp from the bull frog head so now at 124hp. then get some pistons to 11:5 comp ratio. so now youre at like 150hp, then basic bolt ons so now your at like at 160 fhp. that would spank an si and you would run like low 15s or maybe even high 14s
