Question DIY timing belt and valves?

Can I change my timing belt and adjust my valves myself? Changing the timing belt doesn't look that hard. Does anyone know how much it would cost to have each of these things done by a garage?

The belt shouldn't be taht hard, cept you will need a timing light to get it timed correctly incase you move your gears or anything. As for the valves i have no idea how to adjust those.

A garage would charge quite a bit.
