Shocks and Springs

Living in a place where there is snow and ice on the ground much of the year, roads that will rattle a tank a loose, and potholes crxs have disappeared into. I was wondering if the users could help me in shopping for what suspension items would be suitable for my driving needs. I would enjoy riding with a 1.5" drop but that would be dangerous. I'm really starting to hate the abuse the roads put on my 17" wheels, which will never see the roads past September.

I'm new to living in this type of climate and horrible road condition, so I really would like to hear what others would suggest for the Hondas up north.

Thank you,

Nabeeh
