struts/shocks and springs

Hi everyone, I'm in the market for some struts/shocks and springs for my GSR. I'm not looking for that much of a drop, 1 and a 1/4 drop would be fine with me, I was thinking nuespeed and perhaps koni non-adjustables for struts/shocks. Any feedback on these or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have H & R Springs, its about a 1.7" drop it looks mean as hell. I also got tokico non-adjustables. It feels like a completly different car. I was so happy with both.

I'd go with the Eibach Pro Kit for a 1.3" drop (that's what I've got on my Integra), and the Tokico and Koni are both great options. I've got Koni's (adjustables), and I've never ridden in a car with Tokicos, but I've yet to hear bad things about them. Apparently they're great as well, but 25 to 30% less expensive.

If you've got more money to drop on suspension, I'd go with some one-piece coilovers that you can get for in the neighborhood of a grand. I know the Skunk2's are pretty popular.

Hey the best ride would be if you got the Apexi coilovers! Sweet as hell, but then that's also with the ITR rear lca's. Well worth the money.

Re: Re: struts/shocks and springs

Neuspeed, H&R, or Eibach Pro-kit with koni reds would be a good choice for a basic set-up. If you can afford adjustable shocks, get 'em now.

with JD@af, true coilovers would be the best selection if you know how to set-up it up properly & will use the many adjustments. Are you gonna use the adjustments for daily driving? NO, but if you have the $$$$, why not?

If your doing any racing, adjustable coilovers may/will put you in a higher class due to the adjustable spring perches.

Check out www.tirerack.com for suspension parts for your car. Check into the H&R Cup kit if its available for your car. When it comes to standard shocks/struts springs, there is nothing better than a matched set from the same company. H&R also makes wonderful springs & coilovers. Good old German over-engineering.

More quality coilovers & other suspension related parts : http://www.modacar.com/products/Acura/Integra/MODACOI/
If you choose coilover sleeves for some reason, at least go with ground controls(eibach spring) & Koni Yellows. Tein basic is about the cheapest quality coilover I know of.

Next step after shocks/springs is a rear sway bar upgrade, if your looking for better handling.

Ive had Tokios adjustiables on my old integra, they handled pretty damn well, i threw it into some 45 mps turns at 110 and still held it, of course thats partly because im a good driver but still, tokios or w.e are good, im drunk so ill post about this when im sober lol.
