Olds 2001 Intrigue Change Oil light

Does anyone know how to turn off or reset the Cange Oil Light once I change oil. I prefer to change it myself instead of taking it into the Dealers!!!

Try turning the key to the on position(don't start engine) and pump the accelerator three times. :flash:

Chriscampbell is right. To add however the owners manual says to depress and release the accelerator slowly, the light will start flashing. Turn key off after it stops flashing. Start car. Repeat if necessary.

i bought a 2000 intrigue april 23 2004.
and like so many people here it came w/out owners manual.seems to be pattern w/olds owners.
anyways first thing i do after buying car is change oil,air,gas filters ect
and like you i had no idea how to turn off that annoying change oil light.
thanks for tip.
it worked great altho i saw no flashing.
