2001 Pontiac Aztec. How do you reset Chang Oil Light in message center

Does anyone know how to reset Change Oil Light on a 2001 Pontiac Aztec? Thanks, Sean

Put key in ignition.
turn to "on" but do not start engine.
press the gas pedal to floor and release fully 3 times within 5 seconds.
turn key to off.
repeat if necassary as this takes a little practice.

no no no,.
You should have a mode button to the right of your steering wheel.
Click on it until you see "oil life or oil percentage" , under your gauges,
then push the 'set" button and hold for a few seconds until it
zero's out.............. I also own a 01' Aztec.
i need desparate help w/ the tranny.

p.s. turn car on but, do not have to crank.

If you don't have the DIC panel you have to use the gas pedal.
Just look in the Owners Manual
