87 Accord Wiper Spiggot Question
I have a most dear renter renting a room in my house and he enjoys washing and waxing his car and mine at the same time. Well, after he washed and waxed my car, I have only one spiggot that will shoot out washer fluid. Initially I used vinegar to soak the spiggots, but only one remained working. Today, I attempted pure vinegar to open up the spiggots, but there is still too much wax residue ... I'm using a toothbrush single bristle to try to poke through. I have managed to get another spiggot to work. This has been most time-consuming. Is there some product or gizmo that I could purchase that won't damage the paint on the car, but will remove this wax faster (around the grooves and in the spiggot)? Hey, it took me awhile to figure out why they suddenly didn't work when they worked fine before. Uh ... he's waxed the car about four times (maybe more) since February to give you some idea what I'm now dealing with ... and naturally, I will mention it to him later today. Suggestions in how to fix this without so much tedious time would be appreciated. Also, if there is a good way to adjust the spiggots to be aimed right ... yeah, they are WAY out of allignment .....
