Re: Lancia Delta Intergrale Martini

Wow, great Intergrale. Love it!

Is that the correct position for the rear mud flaps? Looks kinda weird, but then it is an Italian car so...

Very nice.

As for the mudflaps, here's the original version:

Always strapped together on tarmac, don't think they didi it for gravel rally's.

Re: Lancia Delta Intergrale Martini

Very nice build.

Shame the Hasegawa model does not appear to have the correct road height for tarmac I was hoping it did as this is in my to-do pile

hello,
nice job, except rear mud guards not very good placed, but there are not easy to cut and place for maximum accuracy, I took more than 2 hours for mine on the Acropolis version !!
and a thing more... didn't you put the rally plate of the front hood upside down ?? it seems to me being inverted...
but once more very clean job, well done !

Technoman, you may be able to correct height of the car when building the tarmac version, that doesn't seem impossible to do...

Bye
Phil

Very nice. Good job on getting the decals over the complex curves of the Integrale's rear end. Excellent!

Re: Lancia Delta Intergrale Martini

Great job with those decals. Glad it was you and not me doing them.

The mudflaps however do need to be moved to the same as the photo Juha has posted. Have seen them both rolled and unrolled on gravel. On the Monte they were down.

Rallymaster, although the rally plate seems to be sitting a little proud, Steve has got the position correct. Lancia did this on all their factory cars on the Monte for some reason.

Great job
Decalling must have been quite a job to do but you made it A+!

Aren't the James Bond style "rim-rippers" to fight of your closest rivals??

That was a way to force more air in to the brakes to give them better cooling and performance.
Similar to what you can see on some Le Mans and sports cars.

Niclas beat me to it. They only used them on tarmac rallies like the Monte and Corsica. Mainly just Lancia but also Toyota one or twice IIRC, and usually just on the front wheels like above.

It doesn't require zen like abilities to shorten the suspension and bend the wishbones. Just remember to do it in a similar way on all 4 corners...
