Finished Nissan R390 GT1

Well..my computer is cooperating now. I know its a bit shiny but i dont have dull coat. I took 4 tries to get the paint to lay down right and 3 baths in CSC. It looks damn nice now. Let me know what you think.

Re: Finished Nissan R390 GT1

Looks nice, you don't see this kit around much...

I am not sure if it is just me but the tires don't look right on the rims, like they are not all the way on the edge? Are they the kit rims?

Nice work. Just a shame the pics are not clear to show of the amount of work and detail you have done to this kit

ill try to get some higher res pics... this is my first try at a car like this besides my crappy Revell porsche GT1. The tires are pushed all the way on the rims, i think its the camera. We'll see. Thanks for the coments. Wierd no one noticed the antennea in the last shot...or lack of one. It broke off while taking pics.. ill just make another one..

Re: Finished Nissan R390 GT1

Nice work!
I agree with Technoman that the tyres and rims don't look right. It may be the photo's but try pulling the tyres slightly out so the edge is level with the edge of the rim?

I'm betting it's not the tires or rims, but rather the silver brake discs...since we usually see these in a dark gray (to replicate carbon discs). Nice job and nice finish!!!

Re: Finished Nissan R390 GT1

Super nice job! But put this down as another vote for clearer pics.

I'd have thought this car had a super shiny finish. The track mules may have been finished in a dull black or bare carbon fibre, but come raceday everything would have been gleaming.
