Crazy ebay - again..!!

OMG - I've got one of these kits in my collection, and I can't beleive I've just seen this one going for so much -

I paid $18 for mine, which is around £7 + shipping from the states = £15..!!

Totally nuts, might put it back in ebay and see what I get for mine..!! Erm.. No I won't as the kit looks superb..!!

The kit for sale there has a Scale Motorsports super detail kit for the CLK-GTR included (although not in the picture) which is hard to find and very expensive. If you just have the standard kit that explains the price difference.

Those scale motorsport sets are very hard to get now and are simply superb. I have seen several sell for well over $100, one time when coupled with a clear view model I recall a $150+ price tag.

Scale Motorsports super detail kit worth a good 50$ alone, so it's not "that much"

the kit is still findable.

btw modelexpress had this kit and detail kit few weeks ago (sadly sold)

Thats where I got mine (SMS detail set), about a month or so ago, reasonable price too.

Sorry about that, I wasn't the person who bought the Porsche 911 GT1 version though, I went back to get that about a week later and it was gone.

They are no longer available I am afraid. Last time I spoke to the owner of SMS at a show I asked if he would be reproducing them and he did not feel there would be a big enough market for them, he's probably right too.

I guess maybe if the kit is re-released or something maybe they'll re-issue the detail set. Here's hoping..
