buying a 1988 LS, advice?
So as I'm filling up my dad's van at the gas station today I notice an '88 Integra LS 2 door...go over to look at it and it's the guy at the station selling it. Not a bad looking car, dings here and there (it comes from Brooklyn), 170k miles, 5-speed, power sunroof, blahlbah. The A/C doesn't work and it needs a muffler, there also appears to be a minor head gasket leak. He wants $950 for it, is that a fair price? Felt REAL solid when I drove it, much quicker than I expected, no squeeks or rattles, drove straight, brakes felt perfect, etc.
Anyone know how much it'll cost to do the A/C? I'm anticipating a very hot summer, so I'll need it. |

I guess $950 seems ok for that. The A/C is going to run alot....maybe $400-500 to get it to work. Good luck on it if you buy it.
