buying 1988 928

I am new to the forum. I have a chance to buy a 88 928 5-speed. What kind of things I should look for? I have a couple of play toys in the garage and want to add a Porsche to it. I have 86 300ZX turbo, 91 Golf GL with a 2.0 16v GTI transplant motor, 04 G35 coupe soon to be a Twin Turbo, 94 Supra single turbo. I am looking at the car this week. It's a coworkers husband's ex-wife's car. It's a 88 5-speed and it's been sitting in storage for a couple of years. He just now started driving it around. They are letting me have it for $3500. Which I know is a steal. Are all 88 S4? What's a good condition 88 going for?
