Quick Help On Stillen Intake

Im probably going to buy the Stillen intake for my 00 G20 in about a week. Im going to order it from my auto shop, i think they charge like 155 or 160 for it.
My first question:
1. When I order the intake for the 2000 G20, will it fit perfectly? Because I heard some talk about the adapters not fitting or something of that sort.
2. What to do when the filter gets dirty? Do I have to go out and buy a new filter? or what happens?
3. Does the stillen pop charger have a hole for the temp sensor to go into? and what happens with the old pipe that connects to the air box (that pipe is the one that holds the temp sensor right?)?
4. I also read that you have to reset the ECU after installing the intake, is that right? After installing the intake, will the Service Engine Soon light come on?
5. And finally, is reseting the ECU hard? Whats the main point of doing it, and HOW do is it done on a 00 G?

Im just trying to clarify all this stuff before I order it. Thanks everyone

1. I've never heard of a fitting issue.

2. I believe Stillen uses an oem K&N filter. The K&N site says you do not have to clean it until 30,000 to 50,000 miles, but you should inspect it once a year. If its dirty/dark looking its fine. If the mesh is clogged, it needs to be cleaned. K&N also sells a cleaning kit if you are interested.

3. Not sure. But if it doesnt you can strap the sensor anywhere near the air filter. Its job is to read the temp of the air going to the intake. The pipe is removed and chucked. Or you can actually leave the pipe in place w/ the sensor in it (I'd remove it though)

4. You dont HAVE to reset it. Your engine light should not come on unless you broke a sensor or something.

5. Its not hard. It forces the ECU to re-learn. 2000 G? Sorry!!! you cant do it! Only on the 99 and older. The newer ones do not have the reset screw. The only way to do it is by using an OBD-II compatible Scan tool or the Consult. You can possibly do it by removing your battery cables for several hours, but I've heard conflicting reports on this.

thanks for your help, but i got two concerns....first is the the CENSORS. how many do i have to deal with when i take out the old box and put in the new intake? is it just that one temp censor? does stillen have a place where to put it into , or how should I do it? can someone please explain it in detail for me if there is some other way of doing it.

Also, since im installing an intake on a 2000, and the car is still under warranty, the stealership shouldnt have a problem with this right? Its not doing any kind of harm to my car, it is in fact helping the engine breath better. So they wont be like, "you're warranty is now void" or something like that? Thanks

Exclamation

I have a 95'G20t with the STILLEN intake and it came with the holes pre-drilled. STILLEN does their homework usually. Yours should come predrilled. I have cleaned mine using the K&N recharger kit, let filter air dry. Works fine, no problems.

Question Reseting ECU

I just had my pulley's replaced w/ UR S. Do I need to reset my P10 ECU? I am waiting for my JWT pop charger this coming week. Do I need to reset my ECU again? Would it affect the coding of the radio, alarm, etc.??? I was browsing around for the ECU in the net and found some comments about making sure you write down you radio code & other system code stuff sh#%, etc....???

Please someone clarify this thing for me
I appreciate the effort in advance

If you specify that you have a 2000 model, then YES the stillen intake kit has a hole in the filter for the temp sensor. I am positive, because i have it.
