I'm tring to swap the 5-speed transmission in my 1992 Ranger. Can someone tell me how to get the hydraulic line that operates the clutch disconected?

Re: Trans clutch line?

should be similar to the 95 i just pulled. the line disconnects at the transmission. it separates like a fuel or a/c line. there is a plastic sleeve around the inside of the connector. push it all the way in with a fuel line disconnect tool and the fitting should pull out.

Re: Trans clutch line?

There is a tiny little roll pin holding the line to the slave cylinder. I drove it out and the line was free. Thanks for your post.
