How long does it take you to finish a model?

One thing I have noticed in the progress section is the amount of time it takes people to make their models. Some people under a week and some people take as much time as they need. So I was wonder what is the average time it takes you to build a model from start to finish?

3mos+. I don't have gobs of time to work on them anymore, and I also have to be in the mood or it will come out poorly. This custom contest is a push to get it done on time.

I picked 1 month...
A bit of wishful thinking on my part. My average has been about 8 models a year for the past several years.

usually, about a month, The MPC 76 Monza in my sig. took me 2 months to build, but it was for a show so I put alot of detail into it, The Enzo will prohibably take me about 3-4 months to build. shortest build in recent memory for me was a Tamiya 350Z, which too me 5 days to build

I take about 2 months on kits because I figure im spending money on them so I better take my time and get them right.

I spend a minimum of three months. I am busy all the time. Not to mention I usually will do extensive modifications.

It seems to be taking me longer and longer to finish my models. I'm in college, plus my projects seem to be somewhat ambitious. I can't remember the last time I've built a box-stock model. I've been working on my 240Z model for about 5 months now. Hopefully, I'll get it finished in a week or so.

I don't know. I only started doing this hobby in January. I've got 3 models in various states of completion. But I haven't finished any yet.
