the roof and side infront of the wheel gave it away. Your mystery car has very fimiliar lines, Looks like the final product is going to be a suprise though. keep up the good work.

Yea...
I should have cropped the pix a bit tighter. Based on the Revell Snap kit, Hoppin Hydros wheels, custom brakes, seat bases have been removed from the interior, still need the mesh panels cut for the front and rear grills.

Yes, Snap kit.
There are 5 or more Revell New Beetle's. The "Wheels of Fire" snap kit original yellow plastic release, now out in blue. Another version of the snap kit released with a pre-decorated body, I think it's a "Custom Shop" release. The Revell of Germany release is different, a glue kit, released in a RoG box, there is a US release as well and now its become the 'Tuner' release, with extra tuner parts. I think I saw a RoG police version as well... If anyone has details? This is my forth model based on this kit. I'll post a group picture when I get a chance. No new pix on this till next week, as my wife has my camera.
