I am new to this place and I was wondering why would my ABS Diagnostic Test shoot out these codes 1215, 1235, 1258, 1276, 1278.
Also Why does my car hum, but stop when I turn right. Any help would be great. |

Re: 1997 GP SE ABS Light and Trac light on
Well, check the wheel bearings and ABS sensors. The Track and ABS are regulated by sensors on all 4 wheels. Make sure that all the cables are connected and that all the bearings are ok. have you car being serviced lately?

Had the same problem, it a simple fix, the black (ground) cable connection from your battery to your cars body has corroded, Pontiac also just bolted the ground cable to the painted body.
Here the fix, disconnect the ground cable sand paper the ends and the cars body where the ground is connected. After that apply some Vaseline to prevent corrosion. Right now your car's computer is wigging out, cause the ABS sensor is getting intermit singles. the computer just shut it all off. Do this ASAP, if left uncheck, it will damage the ABS sensor. |
