Dirty engine bay
ok i have a white prelude(1990) and the engine bay is horrible. on top of that i recently put a turbo on my vehicle with a oil smoke leak. it happened to leak in the engine bay so everything is pretty much black. i have tryed to use a couple of things to clean it with bu nothing works. does anyone have any ideas or special recipe's that no-one else knows about or is there a product out there that im missing out on.
thanx

Re: Re: Dirty engine bay
Just take it to a car wash and powerwash it yourself to get the majority of it clean. After that, brake cleaner works wonders on the actual engine. Just use a liberal amount, and scrub it around with one of those hand-sized toothbrush things. When I got my engine shipped from Japan is was dirty as hell, but some nice brake cleaner turned it from that to a nice gleaming red.
