can i put a 911 turbo engine in a 944s. with some chassis upgrades, suspention shocks etc. would it fit?

Probably not. The 911 engine is a flat-six which would mean that IF it did fit in there, you'd probably have to remove the engine to change the spark plugs.
And I also must ask....why? |

the 911 motor would fit but cant be installed to a 944 Tranny and you cant put a 911 tranny in a 944 either. why? because a 911 is rear engine and the 944 is front engine. The tranny is totally different you would have to install a 911 tranny and put the motor in the hatch area. and who would do that. but you could put a 924 or 928 or 968 motor in it. I would go with a 968 Turbo S motor. There have been people who put chevy V8's in the 944'a which is a disgrace to a Porsche. saw a LT1 corvette motor in one. there a comapny that specializes in V8 swaps into Porsches. cant remember the website or company name and i dont want to remember its name.
