I had Fuel Tank replaced on 96 Blazer 4.3L. It is now stalling. It has new fuel lines, Fuel Pump is 10 months old and fuel filter is new. After tank was installed the truck now stalls. It has proper fuel pressure when running and starts fine. Going up hill is the worse for stall but will stall at stop or turn. They claim the work they did is fine but there is a problem.
Also I can hear the fuel Pump whinning when key is turned on and after turned off. Please Help. Thanks Last edited by 96_Blazer; 03-08-2004 at 11:28 AM. |

a chevy pontiac buick gmc dealer and we came across the same problem once.the fuel pump died and we installed a new one. the customer returned with stalling problems. we found some corroded wires that were intermittently arcing. check all wiring very closely. |
