Gas Vapours after new tank install / 3.1L 99' Lumina LS
Hey,
Recently my Chevy Lumina LS 3.1L had its fuel tank replaced with a brand new one as it was leaking onto the driveway visibly. Now when you are in the car or outside of the car you can occasionally smell raw gas vapours, but I have been checking for leaks underneath and cannot find anything visibly leaking or moist. I noticed the engine has some oil leaking from a seal of some kind (I think it's the one behind the headgasket seal) but I don't smell the gas strongly from under the hood so I don't believe it is related. If anyone could give any leads as to what could be the culprit I would be very appreciative as I really cannot afford to pay a mechanic to tell me a bunch of things are wrong with it. Thanks |

Need to get under neath and check all the hoses and fuel pipes for a leak, no other way to find this.
