Question recall????

I have a 99 grand am se, 2.4L and I'm having trouble w/ my lock cylinder on my theft deterrant system. I've seen some threads that say there has been a recall, but can anyone tell me if its for my 99? and if so is there any specifications that i must meet, like to many miles and they wont fix it for free or anything like that?

Help me please.....

Randall......

Re: recall????

The recall I am aware of involves overheating in the ignition circut, not mechanical malfuntion. I am also not sure if extends into the 99's or not.
