Re: RECALL on the RECALL.. "Cruise, Deactivation Switch, and wire harness"

I haven't even been notified that my recalled switch was in yet, so my recall can't be recalled. I do recall that I was notified in Sept. that there was a recall and that my switch that was being recalled would be replaced in November - then the middle of Dec. I don't recall when I've seen such a mess of a recall being recalled like this recall being recalled. Well...the biggest mess I saw was the Yugo. Wonder if it was made by Ford??? Hmmmmm

Re: RECALL on the RECALL.. "Cruise, Deactivation Switch, and wire harness"

Ha Ha doubt that Ford had anything to do with Yugo. What a piece of crap that car was. I also haven't goten the second recall notice on my 96 Crown Vic. The car has since passed away from sitting, so I guess I don't care about the recall any more. I did the disconnect like the Ford dealer told me, so it won't burn up. I do have a Town Car that I believe burned from this problem. Wouldn't that be nice if I could get a few bucks out of the settlement, I'm sure that Ford is being sued over this one.
