has anyone here rebuilt a b18c jdm engine to be able to handle turbo? if so how hard was it to do and what did you spend on parts and such?

Re: b18c rebuild

It depends how much power you are looking to make?? If you want to go full turbo/race i would recommend that you put some aftermarket low compression pistons and stronger aftermarket rods. The motor stock can handle a turbo kit at low and mid boost ranges. Turbonetics make a great kit and does Greddy. I can get either kit for you at reasonable prices. Let me know or send me an e-mail if you want more information. Good Luck !!

Re: b18c rebuild

i'm looking at running around 15 psi on all new internals for a daily driver, may sound a bit excessive... but i'm just that kinda person. 300 whp is my goal, and downtime doesn't really matter because i'm going to keep my current stock engine in until i completely finish the rebuild.

I HAVE A JDM 18C IN A DEL SOL AND PLANNING ON ADDING A TURBO I HAVE DONE SOME STUDYING. MOST OF MY INFO I GOT FROM ITRCA.COM THERE ARE GUYS ON THERE RUNNING 15 PSI ON DAILY DRIVER WITH STOCK INTERNALS. THEY ALL SAY TO GET INLINE FOUR HEAD GASKETS AND BLOCK GUARD. ON A GOOD TUNE IT IS POSSIBLE.
