hey guys. i want to mod my GTS Viper after winter. anyone ever deal w/ SVS...Super Viper Systems? just trying to figure out where to take my Viper

It depends on what you want done to your GTS? I have talked with people that have had similar experiences with SVSi, TNT and Hennessey. If you don't know what I am talking about, go to the Corvette Forum and the Viper Club sites and do a search in their BB for Hennessey. I can promise you that all of the mentioned tuners have similar business practices. I would be VERY careful.
I don't know if you know Paolo in your area, but he can share some of his experiences with you. The fact that you live in Chicago might be of benefit to you (since SVSi is there too). But I do know that even they have been known to screw people that are in their area. In this case, dogs do crap where they sleep... You should be asking this question over at the Viper Club forum. The only thing that I will warn you about is that they have been known to censor posts that are negative toward tuner sponsors. JMO.
