My Daughter is coming home in a week with her 2001 GAGT. Subject lites indicate malfunctions in the breaking systems. I would like to read up on her cars system but don't know who manufactured the ABS, Trac control. Can anybody help. Maybe I'll learn enough to ask a logical question on the forum.

Re: SVS, ABS, ETS Lites
Unless you have a ABS etc. capable scan tool, you are pretty much helpless. A Haynes or Chilton service manual may give you some limited info, but without being able to check codes your limited to checking the obvious, brake fluid level, damaged wiring, etc.

I have a pretty good understanding of the GAGT braking to include the ABS and Trac system. I would like to know what company manufactured the trac and ABS equip. for the 2001 GAGT. Thanks in advance.

Re: SVS, ABS, ETS Lites
I've studied up on the Bendix, Delco Moraine,Kelsey-Hayes and Teves Systems. Don't know which if any of these systems were used on the 2001 GAGT.

Re: SVS, ABS, ETS Lites
Sounds like a disconnected or malfunctioning ABS sensor in one of the hubs.

Re: SVS, ABS, ETS Lites
Just for kicks I'm curious which manufacture built the ABS/Trac system for the 2001 GAGT? Guess nobody knows.
