Anyone Remember Bec Techs? <pics>

Hey guys I thought I would post up pics of my bec techs with Neuspeed Sport springs. I have had them for awhile now, and I have loved them. I still think I Have an inch and a little to drop, but where I am right now I only rub once in awhile and thats if I take a turn to fast or a big pothole. Tell me what ya guys think, and YES they are 15" honda optional wheels, please dont say get bigger rims because I wanted something "sleeperish."

Sorry guys I only have 2 pics up, I will get more within the day...

Eight now only AEM cai and arospeed exhaust. but I'm doing a swap in the next few months and nothing less than a b18c1 or I might just keep it the way it is and make it a winter ride and start my next project.

I'm pretty sure he still makes them. I haven't seen him on here for awhile but I would have to believe he still makes them. Since before old PH closed, he had made the tension adjustable ones too. That sucks about your hatches, what are you driving now?

Yup he still makes em... but hes a busy man!

If you email him he will respond... I say you all email him and tell him that you think he should make me a dealer for him These things really are amazing, you guys that are using those generic coilover type things that are like $100 or even just lowering springs have no idea what you are missing! And I mean come on, $400 ($350 in a group buy) How can you go wrong... you can put money on it that I will be using them when I drop my car!

Is Bec Tech that good?

I didn't believe what he say when he first appeared on PH.

I thought no one would buy it...

After experienced skunk2 coilover, I will never touch those stuff again.

Yes Bec Techs are REAL DEAL, he has actually been selling them for years if I am correct and use to advertise in magazines and use to have middle men selling them but he said that the "middle men" started giving bec techs a bad name because they would install them wrong or not support them as much. And was too much of a headache so that is why he just sells them himself because he wants to make sure the CUSTOMER is SATISFIED.

What's his email address? I'd love to talk to the man. I heard that all he does is shorten the strut casing and the rod, no re-valving and then create the coil-over system. I'd like to hear from him and find out it this is true. If he's not re-valving the struts he's really not doing anyone a favor.

Because all lowering springs are stiffer, some more than others. Stock struts are not valved to deal with those stiffer springs. Because they cannot properly control the springs you will get bounciness and a lack of control that can turn dangerious. Even the owners of Greddy and DC Sports have said that it is a must to have firmer struts with after-market springs. Sadly lot's of guys don't even realize they're running with the wrong strut combo's, they're just happy they're cars ride so smooth. Only thing is it just feels smooth cause the struts letting the springs move way to much. check out the this other thread on the Bec-Tech's

then dont buy em I was running a 3"+ drop and sure it was a little bouncy on big bumps but as long as you're not autocrossing or whatever and we're just looking for a smooth ride, they're great. I think he may have adjustable struts out now...haven't heard anything in awhile.... [email protected]

Could you give us more info about this? Tom is a good guy. I have done business with him, and yes he is a very busy guy since the shocks are just a hobby for him. He has another job and family. I never had problem with payment with Tom.
