Angry boost problems

The car runs fine sometimes until the engine light comes on then it starts sputtering like you have a stutter box hooked up to it, and it wil not build 1 bar of boost and loads up and blows out black smoke, and when you let off the gass it backfires. in a sec the engine lights goes off and it runs fine for a short time and then it does it again. I am thinking it is the map sencer or the TPS switch. Please help..open for any ideas. thanks Richard

Re: boost problems

Pull the engine codes, you can easily find the process by searching for it in this section alone. Also you got a few typo's in there, your not trying to boost 1 BAR are you? 1BAR = 14.7ish psi, what are your mods to back that up? The MA70 does not have a MAP sensor, it has a KV style AFM. Anway like I said pull the codes and see why the engine lite came on, it will answer your problem.

Does the engine light come on after you try to boost?

Are you trying to imply he's going to see a code 34 (FC) I was wating for him to reply with it, but I guess he's not going to. So you have a 92? That's awesome, don't want to get rid of it do you
