Angry Boost Problems??

My R33gtst seems to be having problems boosting, it never used to when i first got the car about 10 months ago. It seems to boost fine through first gear, then as i shift to 2nd, it only goes to about 2 psi then slowly creeps back. but i run out of revs before it reaches full boost again. This keeps happening through the rest of the gears. I was told that my turbo was stuffed by a mechanic, so i spent heaps of $$$ getting a high flow unit installed. The wastegate was also modified to hold a little more boost, about 9 psi on low I also got a Malpassi rising rate fuel reg installed, but the problem still exists. , I have done ECU resets, diagnostics etc. and everything is fine, also had it checked by a different mechanic as well. So about 3K later, i'm no better off. What the F@#K is wrong with it.

It sounds like you have a boost leak. It is possible your intercooler or a rubber hose had shit itself. I would start there and work my way around the pluming.

All the piping to and from the turbo was all checked by the mechanics while the turbo was away being hi-flowed, I've checked the hose clamps etc. several times myself too.

I am having a similar problem ATM. We think it's a stuck BOV or a hose loose in the BOV's area. Getting the front bar taken off tomorrow so we can get to that area. I it impossible with it on to have a good look and check everything. Will know by Monday night, i'll post what we find.
