Talking New Member-New Car

Hi All,
This is my first post on this list and I'm a proud new owner of a 2004 Metallic Gray AWD Aztek Rally which I picked up this evening.

Got to drive a few miles today before heading to work. I have to tell you that I love this car. It's actually good looking!

I have to admit that when they first came out in 2000, I thought that they were the ugliest car around. But once we actually decided to get one and really started looking at it and its capabilities, I started seeing it in a completely different light.

I sure wish we could get more people to test drive one. I know that they would fall in love with it regardless of what they think of its exterior design.

It will be primarily for my wife who is out of town right now. Can't wait til she gets home to see it. I know that she'll also love it. And, as long as I'm working midnights, I also get to drive it!

Welcome to the ranks dude; I myself dont personally own one, but believe that they are good vehicles in their own right.

Re: New Member-New Car

I've always considered getting an Aztec so I'd have a Pontiac SUV, because I am addicted to Pontiac, I think I'm going to get one, but I'll have to act fast, because of the bad news.
it's too bad the Aztec is going out of the Pontiac line at the end of the model year. source: Pontiac Enthusiast I'm not much of an Aztec fan, but i hate to see any pontiac model end.

anyways how much do they go for?

Re: New Member-New Car

Pontiac is committed to building the Aztek until the end of the 2005 model year. Pricing is hard to pin down due to different areas but you can pick up a well equipped used one in the 10-16,000 dollar range and a new depending on the rebates and discounts in the 20-25,000 range.

Re: New Member-New Car

Ya know, I bet they would sell better with the 3.8 v6 in them.
