New member, new car.
So here it is, about a month ago my grandfather died. His daily (if you could call it that 99,000mi) driver was a 1991 Caprice classic. Two days ago my grandmother sold it to me for 1,200$. I lived with my previous Caprice, a 77, for about four months and came to relize one thing... 305 = SUCK!
But still I bought this one because I still love these goddamn things, even with the 305. So what tips would you have for someone who has a 305 and wants a little more speed without an engine, transmission, or rearend transplant? And also if somebody has any good links for a company that makes 9C1 or Impala SS style suspension replacements, help would be greatly appreciated. Please help, I just got my ass handed to me by a 92 Integra. Last edited by Hecubus; 03-15-2004 at 06:29 AM. |

That site talks about 305s to a degree...From what I've heard it is slow stock, but if you modify it then you can still make big power.

Also check out the "305 bad mouthing" thread. There is plenty that can be done to pump your motor up. Have fun with it!
