Multiple Indicator Lights On???

Have a 2000 V6-EX Coupe (76K miles). Drove car home from work today and it was fine....went to the store tonight, was in there for an hour or so.

When I returned to the car and started it the brake, brake lamp, battery, trunk and both door ajar lights stayed on and did not go dark. Have turned the car off and restarted several times and still got the same problem with the lights. I checked the brake lights and they are working properly. Car starts without a problem, so there doesn't seem to be an issue with the battery.

It has been colder than normal here in GA for the past few days, don't know if that would anything to do with it.

Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin

Re: Multiple Indicator Lights On???

its an indication of dead alternator. reason your car starts because your battery still has some charge, but when it runs out out it it will affect engine and transmission performance. that happens because computer that controls engine and transmission not getting proper voltage from electrical system.
Honda installed crapy DELPHI altenator on 6gen AV6, all other Honda cars got Denso.

if your still under warranty take it to dealer ASAP. if your car is out of warranty i suggest to get alternator from 4alterstart.com, they also sell their product on e-bay under screen name " alterstart ", they sell for lower price on ebay but warranty is less if buy it from their website.

FYI, 97-01 Acura CL 3.0 have same alternator as on your car.

Thanks for the info..

This morning the lights went out but come on briefly every now or then while I'm driving. SRS indicator also now goes on and off, but more often than the other indicators and not in time with them. Drove it 90 Miles today, half with the headlights on without issue.

Figure I'll have a dealer take a look at it and go from there.

Thanks again.
