Help needed applying Bare Metal Foil
First, I tested it out on a bumper of one of my junked models and then I tried to apply it on the model I am currently working on. It did not turn out to pretty. There were wrinkles in it and I couldn't get them out. I had to scrape it all off. I want to be sure I know what I am doing before I attempt it again. I used a burnishing tool (suppost to get the wrinkles out) but it did not work. Is there a trick to it?

Cut smaller bits if you have to to go over harder bits of the bumper were it wrinkles.
Then Cut strips that will cover the main flat areas last. Try and tuck any overlay that you have behide the bumper so its not seen. It doesn't really matter if you overlay some pieces onto others as it should polish up OK and not be noticed. Press done fairly firmly when sticking it down as you try and mold it into place
