turbo question

where does an air filter fit in on a turbo system? it seems to me like the engine gets fresh air from the uncompressed side of the turbo

Re: turbo question

if fits on the compresson not the turbine. that side with the air filter is the compressor and the other side is the compressor it is where the turbo elbow is connected to or down pipe..
