There was no twin tubo SR made that I'm aware of...

But if there were one, it would stand for twin turbo.

Re: sr20det sr20dett?

I have seen a twin setup in Option Magazine, but it was a full hybrid custom. The number (SR20DET) is designated at the factory, so J Spec is correct, there was never an SR20DETT.

i was wondering how a fully built bottom end and a high flowing head would be with a pair of sequential turbos.

a HKS GT2000 series BB turbo to spool under 3000 and support the larger turbo. havent decided what the high powered turbo would be, but im thinking t66 or there abouts.

taht would rock. i bet u'd be able to drift at like 3500 cleanly and easily.

but thats a shitload of work.

Re: sr20det sr20dett?

i think twin turbos are only made for V6-V8s. They don't make sense in an inline 4 car.

Re: sr20det sr20dett?

No such thing-! (other than customized as matada states) You may be confused with the legendary RB26DETT?

alright so we got the idea that it doesn't exist. if that's all you have to say in this thread from now on, then don't bother, cause we've already got 20 replies of people saying "it doesn't exist".

RB26DETT was probably what you were thinking of...

Ralph - interesting idea...alot of work, but still pretty damn cool sounding.

Here in Japan, the Legacy with the same engine was available twin, but the WRX had always been single.....

Re: sr20det sr20dett?

The B4's are 2.5. There was a legacy Ti turbo with the 2.0 and a twin setup. Ususally it was seen in the wagons.
