Nope not me and never heard of anyone doin this. IF there is any twin turbo 240sx then it must be powered by an RB26DETT? Oh shit i'm getting hang of this Nissan stuff!

P.S.

I'm still learning about them!

why would you go twin turbo? It's better to have one turbo. I've seen most people with the supra twin turbo change there car to one big ass turbo. I guess it better to have a one pipe sucking in air from one pipe then have two pipes forcing it in into the engine. Same theory why people convert dual exhast into one exhaust.

If you have a good sequential twinturbo who's matching the engine you can get awesome power all the way 'till redline. I'll only mention one car Porsche 959 0-60 3.5s stock with all extras

The reason why they would change to 1 larger turbo is to get more power. When they upgrade the size of their turbo, they are getting more power, but the bigger the turbo is the longer it is going to take to spool up and have full boost. With twin turbo's, they are 2 smaller turbo's and they will spool very fast and you should have full boost by about 2500 RPM, therefor making turbo lag almost unnoticable.

Yeh thats why u see alot of supras doin this as well. You will also see alot of supras with nitrous kits cause they need to spool up the turbo quicker.

there is no reason to TT a I-4 engine especially a 2L one, except to showcase a tuner shop's mechanical skill. A carefrully matched single turbo with divided exhast manifold and turbine would be the ideal setup on a four banger (see lancer evo). And Supra owners that go with a single turbo setup do so to increase efficiency and make their setup less complicated. However, a better twin setup would probably make as much power with less lag i.e. hks GT2835 twins kit. as compared to the single to4 kits.

Yeh cause if supras turbos don't work simutaneosly. If it was a v engine thats equipped with twin turbo then yes u have to upgrade both of them.

The supras go with big singles because the stock twin turbos are too small to compress air efficiently at high boost. The bigger single setups are more efficient at higher boost levels but the power produced usually isn't usable (read: high rpm only). Most of those big turbos are for dyno queens anyway. But for the sr20det I'd go with a HKS gt2530 for pure street and gt2835 for street/strip. dual ballbearing turbos are trick enough a twin I-4 setup will only be good for show and be a nightmare to fabricate a manifold for much less make fit well, and it'll probably be pretty laggy and inefficient. Not to mention waaaaaaay to expensive, and just plain over kill. anybody see that quad turbo surpra it's really bad under the hood...
