Re: oil leak

The most common oil leak on Honda's is normally from the drain plug - washer not replaced with last oil change.

Where does it seem to leaking - front, rear, right, left of engine bay?

Re: oil leak

it's coming for the front... I have just took a little closer look and you know the screw or what you call it when you change oil, you take that screw out and the oil filter so oil will come out...well that place seems to have oil around it and I think it's dropping from there....

The oil drain plug, like I posted above. The washer should be replaced every oil change, it is an aluminum CRSUH washer.

Honda 99 - The balance shaft update was only for 4 bangers, correct? I'm starting to forget some of this stuff, haven't worked for Honda in 2 yrs & kinda miss that place.

Re: oil leak

I seem to be having quite a large problem with oil coming out of my 94 accord ex manual 4cyl. I just noticed the leak right after I had got the oil changed about 5 days ago. I brought it back to them and they looked it over. No problems caused by the oil change. The oil seems to be coming from behind the engine block on the right side, middle of the block. Can anyone help me out. Will this be costly to fix?
