Eliminate v-tec? ...WHY?

I read some toda products and ferrea products that the toda have camshafts that eliminates v-tec! As for Ferrea ..the sell valves that eliminates v-tec? Whats the purpose of eliminating the v-tec? What good will it do ? Thanks.

it's for a full drag race vehicle. the low cam lobes are useless, especially in a full out turbo drag car. the wider the valves open, the better.

also, reduction of valvetrain weight allows higher top end reliability and faster revving.

hence the vtec elimination kits.

vtec was designed for daily driving cars around our daily roads..since it saves us petrol when we want it to..and it also can give power if we wanted to...hence..that is why all Honda racing cars don't have vtec in their engine.

right... vtec killer cams basically go with the vtec (or a better profile) ALL the time. in a drag or circuit motor, it is not important to have the low end efficiency, which is all vtec was designed for...
if you have a v-afc, you can switch your vtec crossover point, same idea...
if you ran your vtec cam profile all the time, you wouldnt want the other profile...

and like stated, the vtec killer cams drop rotational weight, so you can rev to 13 k like the signal car.

i have never seen a vtec killer valve though... what is the deal on that?
