'93 4.0 ranger lacking power

My '93 ranger is really lacking power and seems to fall on it's face above 3000 rpms. Truck seems to run good just no power. tried pulling codes and could find nothing wrong.This is a 4.0 , manual, 4x4.

Clogged fuel filter-low fuel pressure-plugged cat or other exhaust part is probably look first.
