P0141 = O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2) / after cat sensor. Sounds like you are on the right track. I dunno at what point the 12v circuit to the o2 sensor(s) heater goes live, but I would suspect a dead sensor, broken wire or corroded connector. G/luck

My '96 Rodeo 3.2 just failed it's emissions test with the same p0141 error code. Is it easy to replace this sensor? Any instructions?

Also my check engine light isn't working. I don't even know where to begin on that one.

TIA!
